Another single room is available in a new (2019) 4-bedroom shared flat in Buddinge from September 2026, as Zachary decided to leave Denmark for a while. You will share the flat with 3 other people (Philipp, Tjalling and Kexuan) in the age of 25-30, who are all internationals (Austria, the Netherlands and China). Kexuan just moved in and currently at a start-up, Tjalling has a Postdoc position at KU and I am in my final PhD year at DTU. We are rather active people that respect a closed door, but we are always up for a nice chat in our shared kitchen. The room is ~13sqm (Room 2 on the floorplan) in a 177sqm apartment with a terrace. The rent is 5702,40dkk/month including water and heating aconto. The rent is usually updated at the beginning of the year by a few percent. Other utilities (internet, electricity) have a variable price and are paid quarterly and shared equally among all tenants. The apartment includes a modern kitchen with a dishwasher, fridge, freezer, stove and oven. Washing machine and dryer are located in the bathroom. The room comes unfurnished but Zachary the previous tenant is looking to sell his bed, a wardrobe and a desk (rather basic IKEA stuff). The apartment is located on the first floor of a newly renovated apartment complex with bike and car parking spots, as well as some common areas. We also have a spacious balcony where we sometimes have a relaxed BBQ with our electric grill :) The apartment is well connected to Copenhagen city center through the S-train and busses. Also Lyngby and DTU are reachable either by bus (and the new tramline) or within biking distance (Door -> DTU ~25-30 mins biking or bus). There are many grocery shops and other stores (Buddinge Centret) close by. We are looking for a relaxed person, preferably in a similar life stage as us and for a long term contract (>1 year).
