Our wonderful roomie has found another place for him and his lovely girlfriend. Therefore we are looking for an open-minded and awesome person for our oasis in the beautiful and central villa next to “Den Gamle By” and the Botanical Garden; close to university, Musikhuset and AROS.
We choose to live with each other for fun and not out of necessity. We try to be mindful of how we can brighten each others days and treat each other with “roomieservice” (acts of kindness and support).
We have a big garden with herbs, apples and other juicy perks. Also, a dishwasher, a bathtub, a laundry room in the basement and storage space in the attic.
The cozy room is 12 m2, rent 4200 kr + ca 550 kr a conto in utilities. Depositum (2 months rent) + 1 month prepaid rent+utilities: 13150 DKK
You have the possibility to join our cosy, social and creative environment with 4 amazing roomies. You can look forward to social events, such as movie nights, casual hangouts in the kitchen, occasional group dinners and garden parties. We are responsible and tidy people. A closed door is respected as much as socialising is welcomed. The use of perfume free washing powder is a must as some are allergic. We are allergy friendly in general.
You´re most welcome to write about yourself and contact us for further questions.
RIKKE (she/her)
Hello, I am currently doing an apprenticeship at Musikhuset Aarhus as a stage technician.
I am an open person that loves making food, playing board games, reading books, sewing, and generally creating weird stuff. It would be nice if you were queer friendly and open minded. Looking forward to meeting you.
Also, I have pet rats, so it would be nice if you are not deadly allergic to rats (they are in my room in a cage, so don’t worry).
SASHA (she/her)
Hi there 👋! I’m a non-binary trans-femme socialist. I recently moved back to Aarhus after a year abroad. When I’m not working my corporate gig as an engineer I’m usually chilling, crafting leather, brewing kombucha, building/designing some wacky project, or going to parties 🔥. I have secret plans on turning parts of the basement into a wood/metal workshop (don’t tell Vitalija). It’s important to me that you are queer friendly and it’s a massive plus if you are an intersectional feminist.
VITALIJA (she/they)
I’m born in Lithuania, but studied and worked in Sweden, Finland and now in Denmark. Multi-faceted busy bee, open-minded, curious and nerdy about many things. When not working or studying for my phd (classical pianist), I'm into art movies, books, yoga, weightlifting etc. I have a grand piano in my room and would appreciate someone that enjoys piano music.
KATE (she/her)
Colorful American-turned-expat working as an audio tech engineer in west Jutland a couple days per week. I enjoy seeing shows at Musikhuset and visiting museums. I also love when Sasha teaches me Danish while I’m cooking in the kitchen, when Rikke and I show each other new kinds of music on our house speaker, and when I get to hear Vitalija rehearse on her piano. Look forward to meeting you :)
