A Newly Renovated, Furnished 79 m² Apartment in the Heart of Vesterbro .. with rose ceiling .. I’m renting out my home as I’m embarking on a new adventure. The apartment is ideally available from September 2026 up to 2 years, although I’m somewhat flexible with the move-in date if it makes sense for both of us. As I’m away and have a busy schedule over the coming months, I expect to invite a few did viewings no earlier than late July 2026. I’ll go through enquiries properly from then onwards, although I may reply earlier whenever I have a spare moment. ⸻ The Apartment This bright 79 m² apartment was originally a three-room apartment and has been thoughtfully converted into: * Spacious bedroom * Large, bright living room * Separate kitchen (quite spacious for a traditional Copenhagen apartment) * Bathroom * Balcony The apartment has recently been renovated, including: * Beautiful light oak flooring throughout * Brand-new kitchen * Freshly painted throughout The bathroom has not yet been renovated. It is fully functional and clean, although the original brown tiles and some limescale staining can make it appear older than it actually is. ⸻ Furnished & Ready to Move In The apartment currently includes: * 140 cm bed * Sofa * Coffee table * Dining table (no chairs ) * Chest of drawers * Wardrobes (please note that the wardrobes are quite old but fully functional) * plates etc. *tv Some of the furniture will be coming with me. If you’re relocating without furniture, we can discuss whether it makes sense for me to replace some of the pieces before you move in. The apartment also comes with: * Dishwasher * Washing machine with dryer * Conventional oven * Combination microwave oven * Fully equipped kitchen * High-speed internet ⸻ Location Located in the heart of Vesterbro: * 259 metres to Enghave Plads Metro * 600 metres to the Meatpacking District (Kødbyen) * 1 km to Copenhagen Central Station * Several supermarkets within a few minutes’ walk * Surrounded by cafés, restaurants, bakeries, bars and independent shops ⸻ The Building The apartment is part of a small owner-occupied association with a wonderful mix of neighbours, including a nurse, an actor, a banker, a lawyer and many other professions. It’s one of the things I’ve always appreciated about living here. A few times each year we get together as neighbours. Twice a year we spend a morning taking care of small outdoor maintenance around the property. We usually start with breakfast together and finish with a nice lunch. We also occasionally arrange a summer gathering or a Christmas get-together. I certainly don’t expect you to participate, but you’re more than welcome if you’d like to. More importantly, I hope you’ll simply be a considerate neighbour. I’ve lived here for the past 16 years and would love to return knowing I’ve maintained the great relationship I have with everyone in the building. ⸻ A Few Things to Note This is a charming older Copenhagen apartment with lots of character. Everything works as it should, but there are a few cosmetic details that won’t be renovated before the tenancy begins (for example, some exposed pipes in the kitchen). And, in the spirit of full transparency, the living room has a rose-coloured ceiling. It definitely has personality! I hope you’ll understand that this is about creating peace of mind for both of us. ⸻ A Few Words About Me I’m 43 years old female, Danish with an ethnic minority background, and I work as a middle manager in an international company. I’m a very down to earth person, and my communication style reflects that. This is the first time I’ve ever rented out my home -not even through Airbnb -so this is completely new to me. Neither I nor my apartment are perfect, and I’m certainly not an expert landlord. Because this is my own home rather than a rental business, I’m looking for someone who is mature, independent and comfortable handling the small day-to-day things that naturally come with living in an apartment. I’m used to working with expats and helping people settle into Denmark, so I’m always happy to point you in the right direction. I won’t always have time to answer every little question immediately, but if something important comes up, I’ll always respond as quickly as possible. The photos show my actual apartment. Some of the furniture will be travelling with me, but depending on your needs, we can discuss whether I should replace certain pieces before you move in.
