Howdy! I have recently moved into a new apartment, and am looking for a subtenant to rent out the second bedroom. About the apartment: Located in Vesterbro, the apartment is across the street from the Planetarium and directly on the lakes. It is a 5-minute walk to Central Station, Kødbyen, and the Pink Palace. It is 128 sq. meters with a proper bathroom, washer and dryer on site, a huge kitchen, ample living space, and wifi. Rent includes everything ( wifi + Utilities). The room comes either unfurnished or furnished. The lease is flexible and can be anywhere from 3mths - 2 years, depending on your needs. About the room: At 14 sq. meters, the room is cozy , and can easily fit a double bed and a wardrobe ; it gets ample sun, so it's a good space for your plants. About me: I am a 40+ creative director/ copywriter that mostly works from home. A lot of my work involves cookbooks and cooking, so I'll spend some time testing recipes, etc. I really value cleanliness, direct communication, and a lovely home interior. Occasional hangouts or talks in the doorway are cool, but I'm also cool if you want to keep to yourself. Move-in can either be August 15th or September 1, and CPR registration is possible. About you: I am a very politically left person looking for a similar established person or persons in their 30's to 40's. NON-SMOKER. It would be nice if you were also a creative or in academia-- happy if you also work from home. Couples are also okay, but it isn't a space for pets, sadly. From a practical perspective, you're clean ( no dishes in the sink/ hair blobs in the drain, etc), pay bills on time without reminders, and communicate clearly. While occasional gatherings are welcome, it's not a place for parties. The interview process: I'll be meeting with folks from now until August 1. Let's have some coffee, tea, or share a meal together to see if we're a housemate match. If we get on, I'll write you a contract, and I'll need 2 months deposit + 1 prepaid month's rent upfront.
