We are looking for a person or a couple to look after our lovely apartment for 10 months (October 1, 2026 to August 1, 2027) while we are on a work-related stay abroad. The apartment is located in the southern part of Islands Brygge by the small beach Havnevigen and with the lovely Amager Fælled nature reserve just across the street. The apartment is 92 square metres and consists of a large living room and kitchen/dining area, a bedroom, an office, and a bathroom. In the living room, there is a sofa (which can be converted into a sofa bed) and a 50" smart Google TV with Netflix etc. The kitchen has ample storage space, a refrigerator, freezer, oven + stove, microwave, dishwasher, and dining area. Note: Since the photos were taken, we have removed the round rattan chair in the living room and several of the plants. At the moment, the apartment reflects the fact that we have two small children, but of course, we will remove all toys, high chairs, etc. The bedroom has a 160 x 200 cm bed. There are blackout curtains and closets for clothing. The office (not pictured) has a small height-adjustable desk and can be used for working from home. The bathroom has a shower, toilet, large mirror, cabinets, a washing machine and a dryer. In the hallway, you’ll find space for shoes and jackets. There is also a large balcony with sun in the afternoon, and the property has an elevator. The apartment is rented out furnished, but smaller pieces of furniture can be removed if desired, and kitchen equipment, etc., can be removed if you want space for your own things. For supermarkets, Rema1000 is a 3-minute walk away, while Netto and Føtex City are a 5-minute walk away. Fisketorvet (with lots of shops and food places including Føtex and Lidl) is 15 minutes walk away/4 minutes by bike over Bryggebroen. PureGym at Kigkurren is a 14-minute walk away (4 minutes by bike). Buses 68 and 77 stop right outside the door, while the metro stations Islands Brygge and DR Byen are a 6-minute bike ride or a 20-minute walk away. Dybbølsbro, the closest S-train station, is also located 6 minutes away by bike. The city centre can be reached by bike in 10-15 minutes, and the Meatpacking District on Vesterbro is less than 10 minutes away. There are lots of free parking spaces right by the apartment. Amager Fælled is located just across the street and the entrance is less than 300 metres away. On Fælleden you can walk and run on nice nature trails, and down by the water along “Nokken” you can also walk/run/cycle along a good path. The monthly rent includes high-speed wifi and the aconto amount covers heat, water and electricity.
